Courses Overview

Please note the following for taking the courses:

Each course comes with an ebook, which is available in the Student Portal after purchase.
A minimum of DRE-mandated 6 days is required to complete all courses. The DRE also limits final examination completion to a maximum of 15 credit hours during any one 24 hour period.
All courses must be completed within 1 year of purchase date.
Once all courses are passed, a certificate will be emailed to you. If you would like individual completion certificates or otherwise need your completion certificates prior to finishing all the courses in the package, we would be happy to issue your certificates immediately upon request.
It is your responsibility to follow up with the DRE to renew your license.

45-Hour Package for 1st Time Renewals ONLY

This program is for salespersons or brokers who are renewing their license for the first-time ONLY (end of first 4 years).

Our 45-hour package includes separate 3-hour courses in Agency, Ethics, Fair Housing, Risk Management, Trust Fund Handling, and Management & Supervision (see full list of subjects below). Enrollment provides instant access to our high quality course content as PDFs or physical textbooks, with online chapter quizzes and open book online final examinations.

45-Hour Package for 2nd or Subsequent Renewal

This program is for salespersons or brokers who are renewing their license for the second or subsequent time. Select this program if this is NOT your first renewal.

Basic Requirements

To renew your California real estate license, please review the following requirements:

You must disclose to the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) any criminal convictions or disciplinary actions as required by law.

All information provided to the DRE must be complete, accurate, and truthful.

Please note, if you are 70 years of age or older and have held a real estate license in good standing for 30 years or more, you may qualify for continuing education and examination exemptions. See the 70/30 Exemption Information section below for details.

70/30 Exemption Information

If you are 70 years of age or older and have held a California real estate license in good standing for 30 years or more, you may qualify for continuing education and examination exemptions through the DRE.

Please verify your eligibility with the DRE before registering for a renewal course. Charlie Krackeler Presents is unable to determine your eligibility for this exemption.

If you register for a course and later discover that you qualify for an exemption, our standard refund and credit policies will apply.

Key Information

Before renewing your license, please review the following information:

Renewing a salesperson license does not convert it to a broker license. Broker licensing requires a separate application and qualification process.

California real estate licenses must be renewed every 4 years. The DRE allows a 2-year late renewal period, but you cannot conduct licensed activity while your license is expired.
